TUT Exams
Here you will find information about TUT examinations.
The TUT Statutes and the Higher Education Act, 1997 (Act No. 101 of 1997) mandate that all examinations and other assessments are conducted by TUT following its rules and regulations. Non-compliance with these rules and regulations will result in disciplinary action.
TUT Online Application 2024 Are Open
Part 1 of the Prospectus contains the Rules and Regulations for Students:
Examination Rules and Regulations Chapter 4
As part of our services, we assist students with examination schedules, timetables, examination results, remarking, insight and re-checking, as well as special circumstances examinations (TUT Exams aegrotats, specials, exits). Supplementary exams are not open to students who qualify for them.
In June and November, there are two major examinations. In addition to the University’s campuses, examinations are held off-site as well. Individual timetables communicate the locations of examinations.
On the date of publication of the predicate mark, students should collect their examination timetables on campus. Alternatively, you may do so on exam day at the exam venue.
Special TUT Exams
When circumstances beyond the student’s control prevent them from taking the main examination, a Special Circumstances Examination is taken instead.
According to the examination rules and regulations, the Registrar or his/her designate must approve the application.
The Prospectus, Part 1, Student Rules and Regulations, states the following:
Examination Rules and Regulations Chapter 4
