The Tshwane University of Technology Online Application 2025-2026 will open on 1 April 2025 and close on 30 September 2025 (except for international applications and specific courses). It is with great pleasure that the Administration of Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) informs the general public, all applicants, parents, and guardians that applications are open for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses and programs available for the academic year 2026.

Before applying TUT Online Application 2026, applicants should keep the following in mind:

  • Applicants should read all the information and guidelines for prospective applicants on the University’s website www.tut.ac.za before applying.
  • Applicants must be able to reach TUT University with a fully completed application form
  • It is open to all students planning to write the National Senior Certificates (NSC-G)
  • You must submit all applications online at https://www.tut.ac.za/online/apply
  • We will consider late applications if there are still spaces available for your chosen qualification.

The following supporting documents are required before you can proceed with the:

  • If you are a South African, please provide your ID number
  • Passport numbers are required for international students
  • A valid email address and an active cellphone number are required

Here are the simple steps you need to follow in order to apply for:

  • Visit the website www.tut.ac.za online
  • Application form for 2026
  • Ensure that all the necessary information is filled out and completed
  • Send the TUT admission office all necessary supporting documents
  • There should be a place where the headmaster of the school can sign
  • As soon as we receive your proof of submission, we’ll send it to the admissions department for acceptance and verification.

TUT Online Application Dates 2025-2026

On the TUT website, www.tut.ac.za, you can find the TUT application opening and closing dates. Applicants for year qualifications and qualifications commencing in the first semester of the following year must submit applications by 31 July of the preceding study year with the appropriate administration fee.

  • Admission applications for July 2025 (selected programs) and 2026 (specific programs) will be open on 1 April 2025.
  • 15 June 2025 is the deadline for applications to specific programmes for 2026
  • Applicants for specific programs and international applications for 2026 must submit their applications by 31 July 2025.
  • For M and D programs based on research (second semester and block 4) applications must be submitted by 31 July 2025.
  • Enrolment Management and Planning must receive all selection cards for applications submitted by 15 June 2023 by 30 September 2025.
  • Applications for January 2025 (except international applications and specified programs) must be submitted by 30 September 2025.
  • Research-based master’s and doctoral programs (second semesters and block 4 programs) close on 30 September 2025.
