A candid discussion of her journey from the bottom to the top took place at the event. My journey was distinctively different because I never really considered boundaries, regardless of how challenging it may have been.”

“Having the courage to step outside my comfort zone, to do things I wasn’t trained for, and to try new things was important. In addition to having a burning sense of purpose, an outcome-driven approach can assist aspiring CEOs in pursuing difficult assignments and completing them.”

A slow process, but an important one, is needed to increase the number of women in business, according to Lebaka. A greater number of women in leadership positions does not merely advance gender equality. Furthermore, it enhances productivity and collaboration in the workplace, increases organizational dedication, and decreases employee burnout.”

He concluded by emphasizing the need for soft skills in the workplace. It has been found that hard skills, such as technical expertise, experience, knowledge, and related skills, are as important as “soft” skills, such as self-motivation and resilience.

“The importance of soft skills is much higher now than it was in the past,” she says.

TSB’s Professor of Marketing and Programme Director Vinessa Naidoo said today: “This is one of many events that will provide our students with the skills they need to be employable for the future.
