There are 870 rooms available at TUT Varsity Lodge for students. Tshwane University of Technology is a short walk from the complex, which is comfortable and quiet. There is also a shuttle service that transports students to campus.
TUT Varsity Lodge Rules and regulations
- It is Varsity Lodge’s property not to damage the occupant’s room.
- Â Moves in or out of rooms are not permitted without written permission from the property manager.Â
- Each Occupant will receive an incoming inspection list upon arrival. To upload your fingerprints onto the biometric fingerprint system for access control, all documents must be completed and submitted within 48 hours.
- The Property Manager must approve any removal of furniture or equipment from the accommodation.
- Electric wiring or fittings should not be tampered with by occupants.
- Rooms may be inspected at any time by Varsity Lodge.
- There may be no alterations made to the room; nails should not be driven into the walls.
- Each occupant is responsible for cleaning and tidying their own bedroom.
- Do not cook in rooms, but only in kitchen areas.
- We do not allow microwaves, toasters, kettles, heaters, or electric blankets in the bedrooms.
- Appointments are required for maintenance and repairs.
- Rooms must be fumigated periodically by fumigation teams.
- Â There is a limit of one person per single room, and a limit of two people per double/sharing room.
- In the event that you lose a key, you must report it to the office immediately. The fee for replacing your lost key is R50.00.
- An after-hours call out fee of R300.00 will be charged if keys are lost after hours.
- A key cannot be exchanged or given to any other person by an occupant.
- Once the microwave has been used, it should be dried immediately with a dry cloth.
- Lighting candles, burning oil, and burning incense.
