A Lecturer: Accounting position is available at the Ga-Rankuwa Campus of the Faculty of Economics and Finance.
Minimum Requirements Lecturer: Accounting
- A Masters degree in Accounting or Accounting Sciences or Taxation.
Critical Performance Areas
- Teaching Accounting related subjects to registered undergraduates, such as Financial Accounting 1 and 2 and Taxation 1 and 2.
- Actively participate in faculty research programmes focusing on Accounting, Taxation and Finance issuesÂ

- Overseeing delegated academic offering (i.e. on-demand lecture series)
- Participate in faculty community projects
- Serve as subject coordinator and examiner
- Aside from academic and administrative duties, the candidate will participate in community engagement, research, and innovation.
- Present evening classes and/or Saturday classes as part of the normal workload if need arises.
How to Apply at TUT for 2024 Online Application?
Experience:
- Â At least 3 years teaching experience at tertiary level.
- Â A minimum of three years of a discipline related work experience preferably in Financial Accounting or Taxation and Finance environment.Â
- Potential to engage in doctoral studies in the field of either taxation or Accounting or completed doctoral degree in Accounting.Â
- In addition to excellent writing, oral, presentation, communication, and computer skills, candidates should also be able to work with students, conduct workshops, and hold seminars.
