TUT Undergraduate Studies Diploma in Computer Science Online Application 2024 are Open

Computer Science is the study of computers and computational systems. The computer scientist focuses on solving problems in technology environments by developing software solutions that allow users to perform specific tasks on various devices, such as computers or mobile devices.

The Computer scientist is equipped with key programming skills, analysis and design skills for back and front end computing in web, as well as mobile development and software engineering skills in a variety of business, scientific and social environments.

Admission requirements

For mainstream programme (3 years)

  • Level 4 in English (home language or first additional language, and 5 for Mathematics or Technical Mathematics, or 7 for Mathematical Literacy.
  • To be considered for this qualification, applicants must have an Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 26 (with Mathematics) or 28 (with Mathematical Literacy)

For extended programme (4 years)

  • Level 3 in English (home language or first additional language) and 4 for Mathematics or Technical Mathematics or 6 for Mathematical Literacy.
  • An APS score of at least 23 (with Mathematics or Technical Mathematics) or 25 (with Mathematical Literacy). Life Orientation is excluded for APS calculation.
