TUT Partners with NYDA on Work Integrated Learning Project. The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), in collaboration with the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), has initiated a program allowing students to review learners’ essays as part of their Work Integrated Learning (WIL).

Emphasis on African Languages
Dr. Tebogo J. Rakgogo, Head of the Department for Applied Languages, emphasized the importance of African Languages in this initiative. He expressed excitement over the opportunity for learners to express themselves in any of South Africa official languages as outlined in the Constitution.
Preservation of Cultural Heritage
Dr. Rakgogo stressed the importance of preserving African languages as repositories of history, culture, and values. He highlighted the loss that occurs when languages disappear, affecting not only cultural heritage but also collective identity.
Academic Freedom and Democracy
