TUT Part Time Positions for Tutors at Pretoria Campus

The Faculty of Science: Department of Biotechnology and Food Technology has part time positions for Tutors at Pretoria Campus. Preference will be given to Postgraduate students, who are academically excelled in their undergraduate studies, depending on the nature of tutorship. A Master’s or Doctoral Student may be appointed.

Critical Performance Areas

Minimum Requirements

  • Postgraduate students with atleas a relevant B-Tech Degree/ Advanced Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma.
  • Experience as a Tutor will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Ms Office and other computer programmes.
  • Full proficiency in English is a pre-requisite.
  • Preference will be given to South African registered students
  • Appointments for a maximum of four (4) hours per week

Proficiency in the following subjects

  • Biotechnology Cultivation Technology II
  • Microbiology I
  • Advanced Food Technologies IV
  • Food Components IV
  • Molecular Biology II
