The Department of Physical Planning Services has a part-time position for Quantity Surveying at Pretoria Campus Eskia Mphahlele.

TUT Part-Time Position Quantity Surveying

Minimum Requirements

  • Conducting on-site survey and measuring projects
  • Preparation and estimates budget costs by evaluating plans and specifications
  • Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times.
  • Provide project plans for signed projects to be submitted to customers
  • Working on progression and final accounts for clients
  • Acquiring and building a subcontractor base
  • Review offers and quotes by subcontractors in relation to procurement
  • Work closely with procurement and finance on variation orders
  • Prepare estimates for time, cost and labor to be used for purpose
  • Review BoQs from others (internally or externally)
  • Advice DVC: Ops on quantity surveying issues on projects

Experience

  • Academic qualifications :Btech Quantity Surveying
  • Professional registered Language English
  • 5 year relevant experience in Quantity Surveying
  • Registration with professional body South African Council of (SACQSP)
