The Department of Information Technology has X2 Part-time Lecturer positions available at Soshanguve South Campus, the posts are as follows:

Tut Part-Time Lecturer X2 Soshanguve South Campus

Two part-time lecturers are required by the Department to teach Networking and Security subjects

The following subjects are without lecturers

Diploma subjects – Weekday classes

CFB115D

Computing Fundamentals
NWS115D

Network Systems 126

ISC216D (Group 1)

Information Security
ISC216D (Group 2)

Information Security

Critical Performance Areas

  • Preparing all lecture materials, assessments and related documents
  • Presenting lectures and assessing students in the department
  • Performing administration of marks and other related administrative duties under subject head, sectional head and HOD
  • The appointments are for TUT contact periods for the 2nd semester of
  • Successful applicants only receive a part-time salary according to TUT
  • No additional remuneration for traveling, relocation,

Minimum Requirements

  • BTech / Hons in IT (Support Services / Networking and Security)

Experience

  • At least two (2) years teaching and/or research and/or industrial experience in Information Technology (Support Services / Communication Networks and Security).

  • None
