TUT Part-Time Lecturer X2 Faculty of Humanities Soshanguve North Campus

Critical Performance Areas

  • Facilitate Writing classes for Education students in the B Ed SP/FET, GET and Diploma ACET programs.
  • Preparation of material for students.
  • Supervise and assist students during the facilitation of the Writing Classes and conduct facilitation sessions.
  • Give assignments, mark them, and enter the marks on the ITS
  • Calculate students’ predicates and enter them on the ITS

Minimum Requirements

Academic qualifications

  • A Master’s Degree as an English Practitioner

Experience

  • 3 Year experience in teaching English language subject
  • A related educational qualification would be a strong recommendation.
  • Skills in Computer application for administration and facilitation purposes
  • Skills in facilitation dynamics
  • Knowledge of Writing as a process
  • Skills in working with students individually and in teams.
  • Knowledge of teaching strategies and technologies
