TUT Online Application For Teaching 2023
To apply to the Tshwane University of Technology, you need the following required documents below:
- A certified copy of the green barcoded ID
- Proof of payment of any relevant application fees
- Certified copy of grade 11 results and any latest grade 12 results

TUT Admission Requirements
A person may only be registered as a student in a programme of study at TUT if they have complied with the following conditions:

- Each course has its own specific admission requirements.
- To pass English at the Senior Certificate level, you must earn a minimum score in additional language; however, some programs may require a first or home language score.
- Please be advised that the admission requirements for individual programs could be subject to change from year to year. TUT Closing Dates for 2023.
- For some programmes, students will be required to write an admission test in order to be admitted into the programme. However, if it’s recommended that they don’t enrol for the programme, then they will be able to take a foundation course instead which will help them better prepare for the admission test.
- The following table indicates the levels of performance required for entry to specific levels of study:
Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy?
- All learners who wish to take the National Senior Certificate (NSC) General Education and Training must take one of the two subjects for NSC-G purposes.

- Mathematics is a relevant and important subject for students who plan to study programmes that require prior knowledge of mathematics. All other programmes may only require Mathematical Literacy, which can be easily determined by looking at the DoE curriculum statements available on the DoE website.
