Associate Professor Uwe Hermann, from the Department of Tourism Management at Tshwane University of Technology, was honored with the prestigious Philip Pearce Best Paper Award at the 34th Annual CAUTHE CONFERENCE (Council for Australasian Tourism and Hospitality Education Conference) held in Hobart, Australia.

Taking place from 6th to 9th February 2024 and hosted by the University of Tasmania, CAUTHE stands as the foremost academic conference in Australasia for hospitality, tourism, and events.
Under the theme ‘Diverse Voices: Creating change in tourism, hospitality, and events,’ the conference aimed to foster inclusivity and diversity.
