Master of Engineering in Polymer Technology (85%)

Passion for Transformative Research

Oluwasegun shares his journey from recognizing the potential of scientific advancements during his undergraduate studies to specializing in the use of biopolymers for drug delivery systems. Despite academic stress and financial constraints, he remains dedicated to transformative education and research under the mentorship of Prof Emmanuel Rotimi Sadiku.

Sharlotte Mamatebele Kubjane

Master of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering (82%)

From Medicine to Metallurgy

Sharlotte’s journey began with an unexpected shift from medicine to Metallurgical Engineering. Mentored by Prof Patricia Popoola, she developed a love for research. Despite challenges and struggles with mental health, Sharlotte credits Nana Arthur from CSIR and Prof Popoola for their unwavering support, enabling her to complete her studies.

Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (82%)

Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Industrial Engineering (82%)

Overcoming Obstacles with Continuous Improvement

Rejoice draws inspiration from overcoming a speech impediment, demonstrating that individuals facing challenges can achieve their goals. Originally aspiring to be a doctor, financial constraints led him to Industrial Engineering, a field he grew passionate about. His motto reflects his commitment: “Continuous improvement is better than delayed perfection.”
