Go to www.tut.ac.za.

Create an email address

Before you apply online, make sure you have a valid email address.

Application Fee

There’s a non-refundable application fee of R240. Deposit this fee in advance to the ABSA BANK account with the number 04 000 000 3. In the reference column, put your identity number. Remember, don’t use this account number for any other payments.

Reference Number

Once your application is processed, you’ll receive a unique reference number (your student number) for identification. Your status and reference number will be displayed. You can also view and print a copy of the available letter.

If you already have a National Diploma, here are the admission requirements

A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with at least 50% for English.
A National N Diploma (Nated 191: N4/N5/N6) at NQF Level 5, issued by Umalusi, with at least 40% for Financial Accounting at NQF level 5. This average is calculated from N4, N5, and N6 Financial Accounting.

If you have completed certain N4/N5/N6 modules, you may be exempted from equivalent NQF Level 5 modules.

After completing this diploma, you can pursue various careers such as Financial Accountant, Accounting Officer, Tax Practitioner, Tax Consultant, Assistant Manager, or Management Accountant.
