TUT Council Vacancies Deadline for Applications Is 29 March 2023

The University Seeks to Appoint Individuals in the Following Categories:
TUT Council Vacancies
1. One Expert in Planning
Nominations or applications are invited in terms of paragraph 7 (3)(b) of the Statute from persons with Physical Infrastructure related experience. TUT Council Vacancies
Minimum requirements
- A recognised postgraduate qualification in Architecture/Town Planning/Structural Engineering.
- 10 years’ physical infrastructure related experience of which 5 should be at executive management.
- Affiliation to a professional body will be an advantage
2. One Expert in Supply Chain Management/ Procument
Nominations or applications are invited in terms of paragraph 7 (3)(b) of the Statute from persons with expertise in Supply Chain Management/Procurement.
Minimum requirements
- A recognised postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management/ Procurement.
- 10 years’ experience in supply chain management/procurement of which 5 should be at executive management.
- Affiliation to a professional body will be an advantage.
3. One Expert in Remuneration
Nominations or applications are invited in terms of paragraph 7 (3)(b) of the Statute from persons with expertise in Remuneration. TUT Council Vacancies
Minimum requirements
- A recognised postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management.
- 10 years’ experience in human resources/ remuneration management of which 5 should be at executive management.
- Affiliation to a professional body will be an advantage.
In addition to the above requirements, the applicants/nominated candidates should have the following attributes and experience:
- Integrity
- Ethical leadership
- Experience in the relevant fields
- Knowledge of the higher education sector
- Experience in higher education will be an added advantage
Applications/Nominations must be accompanied by the following:
- A detailed curriculum vitae.
- Relevant qualification/s.
- Contact details of two referees.
- All nominations must be accompanied by a consent note from the nominee with his/her signature.
- Each nomination / application must have a detailed motivation for the suitability of the candidate for appointment.
- A statement of declaration of conflict of interest, if any, and what the nature of the interest is.
- The TUT Council/Committees of Council meet at least three times per annum.
