TUT Air Condition Refrigeration Technician permanent position available at Soshanguve Campus

Key performance areas/Core functions

• To provide effective routine and breakdown maintenance in all heating, refrigeration, ventilation and air-conditioning installations at all Tshwane University of Technology campuses and sites.

Minimum requirements

• A relevant completed apprenticeship or a proof of passing a trade test in terms of the provision of section 13(2) of the Manpower Training Act, 1981, as amended, or a Certificate issued under the provision of section 28 or 30 of the Manpower Training Act, 1981.

Experience

• 2 years’ relevant experience as an Apprentice Artisan in the specific trade.

Other special requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Physical Fitness (Assessment)
• Required to work after hours.
• Training in line with Individual Development Plan
• Gas handling Certificate
