  • Presentation skills of the highest level
  • Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom
  • Assessment setting and marking.
  • Meetings with the department and with the subject matter group.
  • In myTUTor, you can capture test and assignment marks, upload documents, and perform other general administration tasks.

Requirements for a successful application

  • In the area of hospitality and tourism, a master’s or doctorate degree would be helpful.
  • Research Methodology at an advanced level is a major subject of study.
  • Experience teaching and/or researching at tertiary institutions and/or having worked in the industry will be required.
  • Computer skills, such as proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Applicants must be fully proficient in English.
  • It will be an advantage if you are a member of a professional organization.
  • To become a licensed teacher, you must complete a TUT License to Teach program.
