The Department of Hospitality Management
- Lecture preparation and delivery.
- Presentation skills of the highest level
- Ability to use technology effectively in the classroom
- Assessment setting and marking.
- Meetings with the department and with the subject matter group.
- In myTUTor, you can capture test and assignment marks, upload documents, and perform other general administration tasks.
- The consultation of students.
Requirements for a successful application
- In the area of hospitality and tourism, a master’s or doctorate degree would be helpful.
- Research Methodology at an advanced level is a major subject of study.
- Experience teaching and/or researching at tertiary institutions and/or having worked in the industry will be required.
- Computer skills, such as proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Applicants must be fully proficient in English.
- It will be an advantage if you are a member of a professional organization.
- To become a licensed teacher, you must complete a TUT License to Teach program.
