Student Governance Director Appointed to Serve on SA Gambling Board

Gauteng Gambling Board of South Africa Board member Dr Gugulethu Xaba is the Director of Student Governance and Leadership Development at the Tshwane University of Technology. South Africa’s integrity as a responsible global citizen is protected by the Board, which oversees the regulation of gambling in the country.

Xaba has been appointed to sit on the gambling board by Ms. Tasneem Motara, the MEC for Economic Development.

My gratitude goes out to the MEC for their trust in me. The trust placed in skilled TUT people by various governmental entities illustrates the importance of rebuilding national confidence in these institutions,” said Dr Xaba.

Dr. Xaba added: “This is a third entity that I have been entrusted with to serve on its board.”

The Vuselela TVET College Council and Dr. George Mukhari Academic Hospital Board are two other positions he holds.
