Part Time Manager Advice Center Faculty of Humanities Department Law Soshanguve Campus
Minimum requirements
- Present human rights, family violence, maintenance, and other workshops on behalf of the Advice Centre.
- Compile pamphlets on human rights, family violence, maintenance, and other matters.
- Provide legal advice to members of the public.
- Guide students when they assist members of the public.
- Be responsible for administrative tasks relating to the Advice Centre.
- lnvolvement in community development projects.
- Assist students with Legal Research and Writing
- Attend meetings.
- Report writing
- Liaise with industry regarding practical, Advisory Committee Meetings, Industry visits and other related activities.
- Compile funding applications on behalf of the Advice Centre
- Assist with Moot Court competitions.
PLEASE NOTE that the stipend payable to the successful candidate is sourced from external funders.
Academic qualifications
- LLM degree.
Recommended:
- Two years ‘experience in managing a community advice center/ practical experience in a legal practice/ environment.
- Three (3) years ‘teaching experience at a tertiary institution.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A qualification in teaching in Higher Education will be an added advantage.
