Part Time Manager Advice Center Faculty of Humanities Department Law Soshanguve Campus

Minimum requirements

  • Present human rights, family violence, maintenance, and other workshops on behalf of the Advice Centre.
  • Compile pamphlets on human rights, family violence, maintenance, and other matters.
  • Provide legal advice to members of the public.
  • Guide students when they assist members of the public.
  • Be responsible for administrative tasks relating to the Advice Centre.
  • lnvolvement in community development projects.
  • Assist students with Legal Research and Writing
  • Attend meetings.
  • Report writing
  • Liaise with industry regarding practical, Advisory Committee Meetings, Industry visits and other related activities.
  • Compile funding applications on behalf of the Advice Centre
  • Assist with Moot Court competitions.

PLEASE NOTE that the stipend payable to the successful candidate is sourced from external funders.

Academic qualifications

  • LLM degree.

Recommended:

  • Two years ‘experience in managing a community advice center/ practical experience in a legal practice/ environment.
  • Three (3) years ‘teaching experience at a tertiary institution.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • A qualification in teaching in Higher Education will be an added advantage.
