The Department of Animal Science, in the Faculty of Sciences requires the services of Part- time Lecturers for day classes

Part Time Lecturers Department of Animal Sciences Pretoria West Campus

Critical Performance Areas

  • Preparing and conducting lectures, using a multimodal approach.
  • Develop learning material and integrate appropriate technology in teaching and learning.
  • Assess learning outcomes using appropriate assessment methods in line with the TUT Policy on Assessment.
  • Capture assessment marks on ITS, track and monitor at-risk students.
  • Participation in subject related meetings and training opportunities.
  • Student consultation and engagements.
  • Any other reasonable duties as may be assigned by the Department.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Agriculture (Animal Production) or equivalent qualification
  • Three (3) years teaching and or industry experience.
  • Practical knowledge and industry experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in the use of online learning management systems will be an added advantage.
