How to Calculate TUT APS Scores

To determine a student’s eligibility for admission to TUT’s programs, TUT uses the APS score TUT APS Scores.

What Is the TUT APS Scores?

TUT APS score represents an application point score for admission to Tshwane University of Technology. During the final matriculation exams, a student’s academic performance is assessed using a points-based system. A student’s APS score is based on the subjects they have studied and their scores in those subjects.

Why Is the TUT APS Score Important?

Students are assessed by the Tshwane University of Technology according to their APS scores to determine whether they are eligible for admission. The APS score required for each programme varies, so you should check the requirements for the program you are considering before calculating your score. You will not be able to enroll if your TUT APS scores is lower than the minimum requirements.

How Is the TUT APS Scores Calculated?

Add up your matric scores for each of your best seven subjects, excluding Life Orientation, in order to calculate your TUT APS score. Based on your percentage, you are awarded points for each subject:

You will be able to complete your calculation once you have checked the minimum admission requirements for TUT. Here are the results format for NSC-G:

Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy?

• A learner must take at least one of the two subjects to qualify for the NSC-G
• You will obtain your TUT APS scores once you have added up your best seven subjects.
