A total of 10 part-time lecturers are required for the ICT 1st Year and Foundation Unit at the Soshanguve South Campus.

Faculty of Information Science Key performance areas/Core functions: 

  • Implement the faculty’s teaching strategy for remedial teaching in computational mathematics and/or programming for the extended/foundation curriculum. 
  • Invigilation, marking scripts, processing marks, assessing/moderating, developing online materials, and producing videos are examples of other lecturing duties. 
  • Attend Unit events, meetings, mentorships, tutorships, workshops, panel interviews, workshops, etc. 
  • Engage community members in ICT-related projects. 
  • Additionally, perform other relevant academic duties as assigned by the unit/academic manager, such as reviewing and developing curriculum, coordinating modules, and developing content.  Faculty of Information Science

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Honors Degree in Computing/Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science.

 Minimum Experience:

  •  A minimum of one year of teaching Mathematics and/or Programming.

NB! Assisting students is not considered lecturing experience.
