A relevant completed apprenticeship or a proof of passing trade test in terms of the provision of section 13(2) of Manpower Training Act, 1981, as amended or a certificate issued under the provision of section 28 or 30 of the Manpower Act, 1981.

Minimum requirements
- Responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed.

- Cleanup worksites hazardous or obsolete material.
- Installation, inspection, diagnosing, problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair and
- maintenance of pipes, fixtures and other water and plumbing systems used.

- Handle and transport materials and equipment.
- Use power tools and machinery.
- Putting up warning signs (e.g., signposts, cones).
- Setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g., scaffolding).

- Adhere to all organization policies and procedures, Report to Line Manager.
- Maintain accurate worksheets and records/documentation associated with your work.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 (two) years relevant experience as an artisan plumber.
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
- Time management
- Reading technical reports and drawings
